Mental illness stigma

Re:  Remembering Laura

By how much? Preserving how much? Why cooperate in any? Reduce it to zero on your pages.
I did not encounter from the Women’s Movement, “reduce” the stigma of rape, they told us point blank to stop declaring it, we had done enough harm.

Stop again, you are doing the same harm.
  • Laura was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and struggled with the associated stigma which left her feeling too vulnerable to openly talk about her own mental illness.
And yet we do not learn to stop associating it.
Stop. Who knows you might save a life, or at least contribute to saving one.
