Please, stop with this kind of ridiculous poll. Statistics show that crime is and has been decreasing for decades.
This kind of silliness only serves to make the populace believe just the opposite and is very similar to sensationalism. It's bad enough that the average traffic cop wears a bullet proof vest when the reality is that no vest is required.
Further, what evidence do the respondents to your poll have to back up their belief that crime is increasing? None, as far as you know.
Stick to facts and polls that are relevant to what's really going on. Try taking a poll on how many drivers actually use their signal light or something like that.
