Northbound bridge users

I live on Campbell road, adjacent to the bridge, and have noticed that when traffic is backed up on our new bridge (every morning between 7:30 am and 8:30 am), dozens upon dozens of vehicles heading northbound are taking the Campbell road turnoff ramp to try and gain a few car lengths in traffic. Sometimes I have to wait for 15 to 20 cars to pass around the traffic circle before I am able to go. Now the more patient drivers who stay on the highway have caught on to this and are becoming impatient, so they bunch up and make it difficult for them to merge. Meanwhile, the real Campbell road residents are having to pay for this. I think it's time that the RCMP set up another meet and greet for these people the way they did a couple of years ago, for people doing the same thing going the other way during the construction on the west side. Just stop them to say hi, how are you?

Also on another subject, do the people that synchronize the traffic lights actually drive here? On Gordon drive (60 kph) you have to do 40 kph or 80 kph to make any of the lights. Unfortunately, most of the slower drivers hog the left lane. All the work they did around Dehart and Lakeshore was a total waste. Nice bike paths though. Traffic coming down the hill from Chute Lake road and area is backed up, sometimes for miles. Thank God I am going the other way in the morning. I think it would have been far more prudent to move that school. There are lots of them available I hear.

Trusswell and Lakeshore should be a flashing light, the same with Barrara and Lakeshore. The light at Cook and Lakeshore should be eliminated. The light at Richter to turn left onto Pandosy should be a flasher. Gordon and Old Meadows should be flashing as well. How about turning right from Pandosy towards the bridge? I've never seen a light to turn right onto a one way in my life! Does someone in city hall own a traffic light company? Do I need to get into the lights on 97? The City of Kelowna better hope there is never a bypass around Kelowna, because everyone who has driven through here, would take it. Honestly, I'm a calm person.
