In The Real World

In the real world the lazy man does not receive the promotion because he was hired first.

In the real world an employer signs your paycheck.

In the real world people are not paid for sick days when they are not sick.

In the real world productivity rules.

In the real world 40 hours is a work week.

In the real world job security is earned.

In the real world the sick and the children cannot be held hostage.

In the real world I ask "what can I do for my employer".

In the real world I am in control of my destiny.

In the real world only the mob can collect dues for providing protection.

In the real world performance is king.

In the real world you can only blame yourself for failure.

In an unreal world you belong to the union and cannot make decisions for yourself.

Gordon Cambell was elected to represent all of the citizens of B.C. He was elected with an overwhelming majority. Our cost of living is going up almost daily. Everyone in the family must contribute.

-M.G.(ex-United Steelworker and ex-Teamster)
