Bong threat in Kelowna

A possible explosive device turned out to be a bong.

Kelowna RCMP were called to a suspicious package found on Ziprick Road Wednesday afternoon, which was thought to be a pipe bomb at first.

A dog team was brought in to check the object, which was deemed to be safe and not an explosive device.

When officers were able to check out the object, they discovered it was a BONG and not a BOMB.
