A group of pro life activists made waves in Kelowna Monday, causing outrage among some residents.
While activists gathered at the sails a car drove by yelling obscenities and tossing an egg out the window toward a senior activist.
Although no one would comment directly one activist said they are often met with hostility, however this was the first time they had an egg thrown at them.
The activists are from the Canadian Centre for Bioethical Reform (CCBR) in Calgary and are traveling across the country in their 'New Abortion Caravan', a large cargo truck painted with images of aborted babies. The group launched in Vancouver last week and will finish in Ottawa on Canada Day.
During their stop in Kelowna the cargo truck drove around the city while activities stood near the sails with large posters depicting aborted babies.
