A cyclist rides past the scene of a Thursday morning crash which sent another cyclist to KGH.
A cyclist was sent to Kelowna General Hospital Thursday morning after he was struck by a car.
Just before 9:00 a.m., the cyclist pulled up alongside a vehicle at the exit to the parking lot at Kelowna Senior Secondary school.
The trouble occurred when both started to leave at the same time.
"The vehicle was leaving KSS and she was going to turn right onto Raymer Avenue," says RCMP Cst. Lise Marion.
"It appears that the bicycle came out in the same direction that she did and then hit into the side of her vehicle."
The collision knocked the man to the ground.
"He was transported to hospital for treatment of minor injuries." says Marion.
