On The Street: Who will you be voting for in the federal election?
Who will you be voting for?
Madison Reeve
As advance polls for Canada’s federal election open this Friday, Castanet took to the streets of downtown Kelowna on Tuesday to ask residents if they've decided who to vote for.
''Im going to be voting for the Conservative party... they just align with my values more and it's time for a change,'' one person said.
''Im going to be voting for the [Conservatives]. The Liberal corruption has got to stop and the [Conservatives] need to fix this and fix the country,'' another person said.
Recent projections from 338Canada, a site that tracks national polls and forecasts election outcomes, show the Liberals leading with 44% support, ahead of the Conservatives at 38%.
