It’s big, bright and seats close to 300 people.
Moxies has reopened at the corner of Enterprise Way and Cooper Road in Kelowna.
The restaurant has been closed since July as it underwent major renovations. The chain announced a rebrand last September with a campaign emphasizing handcrafted food and drinks made with fresh ingredients.
"Moxies has been a go-to for so many over the last 30 years, and we look forward to welcoming new guests as we reintroduce ourselves to our loyal fans", says Cydney Shapiro, director of brand and marketing. "Our transformed atmosphere combined with our front-edge menu will ensure that our guests can celebrate any moment with us."
Moxies has 55 locations and more than 7,000 employees across North America.
The Kelowna location is the first in Canada to reopen. Inside it features a pale, neutral colour scheme, with a massive central bar surrounded by high booths and tables on two levels.
The menu includes offerings like Chipotle Mango Chicken and Lemon Basil Salmon. Manager Bailey Schoppmann says they also have exclusive Okanagan-focused wine list.
She says they have about 130 staff and are always hiring.
The new-look Moxies is open 11 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week, and reservations are already rolling in.
