A local developer has submitted plans to the City of Kelowna to consolidate four plots of Rutland land and turn it into a 127-unit apartment building.
Troika Developments has applied to have the four lots consolidated and to obtain a development permit for the five-storey building.
The four lots being proposed for consolidation are located at 450, 470, 480 and 490 Asher Rd.
The wood-frame apartment building would consist of 38 two-bedroom, 85 one-bedroom and four studio units. There would also be 136 parking stalls—the minimum required amount—in a lower-level parkade and outside on the ground floor.
A proposed amenity space on the roof would include a barbecue, artificial turf and plenty of room for fire pits and other outdoor furniture.
