Get your Christmas tree delivered this year

Three students at UBC Okanagan have come up with a festive way to help offset rising tuition costs.

Door-to-door Christmas tree deliveries.

Kameron Monfared, one of the students running "Santa's Elves for Christmas," says for $165 they will hand pick a seven or 10 foot live balsam fir and deliver them straight to your door.

Tree stands are also available.

Monfared says the trees, sourced from local tree farms, are uncultured and unshaped.

"They look natural," he said.

Monfared says they will deliver all across Kelowna.

The group will deliver over five days this holiday season, this coming Sunday, Nov. 27, plus Dec. 3, 4, 10 and 11.

They will also pick up trees early in the new year for disposal.
