For the second year in a row, The Hotel Eldorado is hosting the Tree of Dreams fundraiser this December in the fight against child hunger.
The initiative will take pace from December 5th to 8th.
The Tree of Dreams will be an event filled with Christmas shopping from local crafters and vendors, all in support of the not-for-profit charity Food for Thought, fighting childhood food insecurity for local children.
Families will be able to meet Santa and enjoy delicious holiday bites and festive beverages.
"We began last year not knowing how it would be received and we were delighted with the response. The Tree of Dreams is a joyful celebration of what Christmas can be. All proceeds will benefit local children through our partner charity Food for Thought who do incredible work fighting childhood food insecurity here in the Central Okanagan," said Mark Jeanes, Hotel Eldorado General Manager.
Chloe Kam, Lead Program Manager at Food for Thought says the organization is thrilled to partner once again with the Hotel Eldorado and Argus Properties.
“When corporations like Argus lend their support to local organizations like Food for Thought we are able to raise significant amounts of money but even more importantly raise awareness about the issue of childhood hunger.”
