Big White opens more lifts, runs as Environment Canada calls for more snow

Big White opens more runs

Big White and Okanagan skiing enthusiasts are rejoicing at the news of more snow coming our way.

Big White announced Tuesday morning that after receiving 15 cm of Okanagan champagne powder in the last two hours (as of 11:47 a.m.) vice president of outdoor operation, Darcy Arnold says, "the Bullet Express quad chair and associated runs will open Thursday, Nov. 24 and the Black Forest Express quad chair and associated runs will open Friday."

After a hefty dump of snow earlier this month, Big White was able to push its opening day up to last Thursday.

Big White has also announced that its season ticket prices will be going up to full price on Nov. 24th. You can get 25 % off tickets purchased at the E store online for the next few days, in advance of American Thanksgiving this Thursday.

After pandemic restrictions over the past two years, a number of events and other services will be returning to Big White this year, including night skiing.
