Voyager RV named one of North America's top five RV dealerships

Big kudos for Voyager RV

Voyager RV has been deemed one of the best of its kind in North America.

The Lake Country RV business was named one of RVBusiness magazine’s top five dealerships in North America for 2022 at the recent Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association International Convention and Expo in Las Vegas. RV manufacturers nominate the dealerships they feel are most deserving of the honour, and an independent panel judges them on their practices pertaining to consumers, staff, marketing, charitable endeavoars and overall business procedure.

“Voyager RV helps cultivate the local job pool through an RV technician program with close ties with all area educational programs,” RVBusiness wrote. “They also support Okanagan College’s Women in Trades program and currently employ six female RV technicians, three of them with Red Seal journeyman status.”

The company was honoured on stage last week during an all-industry reception at Caesars Palace.

“I love what I do and feel like the luckiest guy in the world to get to come into work here every day,” Voyager RV vice-president Jason Friesen said in a press release. “So being recognized with awards like this is just a bonus. My dad, Rod Friesen, had the amazing vision to start Voyager back in 1984, and then built it up for 20 years into a true industry leader. That was really the hard work, and he deserves all the credit for setting the tone for the company’s culture and values.

“Since taking on the leadership role in 2003, my role has really been to just build on that early success and reputation. I’m so fortunate to lead the amazing group of staff we have here, and being named one of the blue ribbon top five dealerships in North America is a true testament to the work they do for our customers. They deserve it.”
