Economic summit lands noted Indigenous business leader for keynote address

Influential voice to speak

The Southern Interior Regional Economic Summit will be bringing in Kelly Lendsay as its keynote speaker when the event later this month.

Lendsay is the president and CEO of Indigenous Works, and is also the founder and CEO of Luminary. He is internationally recognized as one of Canada’s foremost innovators and organizational development experts in Indigenous engagement and workplace inclusion systems, models and corporate-Indigenous partnerships.

The Southern Interior Regional Economic Summit will be held Oct. 23-25 at Kelowna’s Rotary Centre for the Arts. Lendsay will address the summit attendees on Monday, Oct. 24, at 12:45 p.m.

Lendsay’s presentation will be followed by an open question-and-answer session.

Lendsay is described as a bridge-builder who has fostered trusted partnerships for workforce and economic development across Canada, the U.S., Australia and others. He was honoured by the University of Saskatchewan as one of its 100 Alumni of Influence in the last century.
