Police have now cleared the area.

Castanet has a request in with the Kelowna RCMP.

ORIGINAL 2:55 p.m.

There is a large police presence around a home located on Wilson Ave. and Gordon Dr.

Multiple police cruisers and officers are in the area near the Central Okanagan United Church.

Castanet has reached out to RCMP for more information and have been told it is an "on-going incident."

Traffic is moving on Gordon Drive and Wilson Ave.
