Rotary Centre for the Arts launches 20th season with live concert recording

Live recording opens RCA

The Rotary Centre for the Arts is going live to launch its 20th season.

A special live album recording concert for Kelowna’s-own Leila Neverland is scheduled for the Mary Irwin Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 17.

The concert is part of RCA Presents and will also feature top instrumentalists from across the province.

“We are proud to present the energetic stylings of Leila Neverland to our community as part of our 20th-anniversary celebration of Kelowna’s arts and culture hub. She provides a welcoming atmosphere for patrons who are passionate about community,” said Colleen Fitzpatrick, executive director of the RCA.

Leila released her first album, River in 2020 and a 5-track EP Little Big Storm in 2021. The September 17 show will be a live recording of a 10-piece orchestration.

Tickets start at $34 and are now on sale online through the Rotary Centre for the Arts website or in-person at the RCA Box Office. The show includes exclusive VIP seating and a pre-show meet and greet.
