Police in Kelowna are reaching out to the public for help in locating a missing woman.
Jasmin Davis was reported missing Aug. 9, but she hasn't been seen since July 30. In a press release, the Kelowna RCMP says social media posts indicate Davis was in the Kelowna area on July 26.
While the press release doesn't explicitly state where Davis is from, the Chetwynd RCMP appears to be leading the investigation into her disappearance.
Const. Mike Della-Paolera of the Kelowna RCMP says Davis is believed to be living a “high-risk lifestyle,” and she may be with a man who police only know by the name of “Chocolit.” The man may be travelling in a red four-door Ford pickup truck.
Davis is described as a 4-foot-9, 159 pound Indigenous woman with bleached blond hair.
Police have asked anyone with information about Davis' whereabouts to contact the Kelowna detachment at 250-762-3300 or Chetwynd RCMP at 250-788-9221.
