The summer heat continues across the Okanagan.

Temperatures will hover around 30 C with a mix of sun and cloud throughout most of the work week.

According to Environment Canada, the only unsettled weather will hit on Wednesday.

"An upper trough will move in on Wednesday bringing showers and thunderstorms," said Environment Canada meteorologist Johnson Zhong.

The unsettled weather will carry into Thursday.

“It doesn't seem to be too wet, the good news is the temperature will drop a few degrees, but the bad news is it is dry lightning. It is not going to bring a lot of showers," Zhong added.

Monday will see a high of 32 C with sunshine all day.

Tuesday will be the warmest day of the week with a high of 34 C and sun.

Wednesday will bring a little reprieve from the sun with a high of 30 C and mostly cloudy periods.

Thunderstorms are in the forecast for Wednesday afternoon and into the evening.

Thursday and Friday will see a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 28 C.

Saturday will reach 29 C with a mix of sun and cloud.
