ORIGINAL: 1:15 p.m.

Police have swarmed a Pandosy apartment complex Wednesday, but it's not clear why at this time.

A resident of the Palisades Apartments complex at 3195 Walnut Street says about a half dozen police vehicles arrived at the building just after noon Wednesday, along with two ambulances and a fire truck.

The resident says emergency personnel appear to be focusing their attention on an area where a creek flows through the property, but he's not sure what has prompted the police response.

As of 1 p.m., the fire truck and one of the ambulances have left the scene, but a number of RCMP officers remain on site.

Castanet has reached out to the Kelowna RCMP for more information about the incident.
