Interior Health is continuing its hiring push with a virtual career fair starting Tuesday.
IH is offering one-to-one sessions with a recruiter, "if you are an experienced health care worker, or looking to start a career in health care and you meet the minimum requirements of the position, register today," states a post on their recruiting website.
IH is looking for everything from emergency nurses to cooks and clinical operations managers.
The health authority is dealing with a large staffing shortage due to the pandemic and associated mandates.
Prospects are encouraged to upload a resume and register on the website.
"This is a great opportunity to speak directly to one of our recruiters," says the IH recruiting page.
A Kelowna public healthcare nurse, Linda Kersche says, "working as a nurse at Interior Health gives me a flexible work-life balance that allows me to be very involved with my children's activities. I like to swim, play tennis and I often bike to work. It's such a great place to live, a great place to raise a family. Everything you could want for your children is here."
There are more than 21,000 employees at IH, nearly 1,900 physicians, and 4,000 volunteers.
