Peachland residents spotted surfing Sunday afternoon

Surfs up on Antlers Beach

It's not something you typically see at the end of February.

A surfer braved the chilly waters Sunday afternoon to catch a few waves at Antlers Beach in Peachland.

Subhadra Nault shared the video on the Peachland Neighbours Facebook page.

The video has a number of likes and comments.

Most people were impressed that anyone would brave the icy waters.

"Wow, brave soul! That's crazy and cold," a comment said.
