Dierks Bentley cancels Kelowna January tour date

The rug has been pulled out from under what was supposed to be one of the first large post-pandemic concerts at Kelowna’s Prospera Place.

Country star Dierks Bentley has cancelled next month’s Canadian tour dates, including the Jan. 28, 2022 show in Kelowna.

A notice posted by Ticketmaster says ticket holders do not need to take any action to obtain refunds. They will be automatically processed to the original method of payment.

Bentley also canceled shows in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and elsewhere in Canada. His next active tour date is now listed on Feb. 4 in Montana.

The cancellation comes in response to new health orders that limit events of over 1,000 attendees to half capacity.
