PACs host vaccine forum

The president of the Canadian Medical Association will speak to parents of school-age kids on the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine for children age 5 to 11.

Dr. Katherine Smart will speak during the forum hosted by Parent Advisory Councils in the Central Okanagan, Vancouver and Surrey.

The forum, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, is open to all parents and caregivers across the province.

Dr. Smart's presentation will be followed by a question and answer period, with questions submitted from families across the province.

"We believe this is an important opportunity for parents and caregivers in BC,” said Simon Adams, COPAC president.

“We’re proud to offer this opportunity to families and communities across British Columbia.”
