Two motorhomes just down the road from each other involved in separate incidents

UPDATE: 4:22 p.m.

The fire is reportedly out and Fortis BC is on scene.

Just down the road along Old Vernon Road another motorhome is involved in a crash.

A witness says the motorhome is on its side.

RCMP are on scene.

It is unknown if there are any injuries at this time.

ORIGINAL: 4:07 p.m.

A motorhome has gone up in flames in Kelowna.

A witness tells Castanet the incident happened just before 4 p.m. along Old Vernon Road and Highway 97.

The motorhome was parked underneath power lines which have also reportedly been damaged by the fire.

FortisBC is headed to the scene.

At this time it is unknown if anyone was inside the home at the time of the fire.

One witness says a woman went into the home to try and save animals that were reportedly trapped inside during the fire.
