The Kelowna Fall Closet Cleanout event is headed back inside

Closet Cleanout returns

The Great Closet Cleanout is excited to be holding its first Fall Closet Cleanout indoors in nearly two years.

With new health orders in place, the organization decided to bring the event inside.

“We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with events and markets slowly returning to normal,” said Rosanne Ting-Mak Brown, producer of the Great Closet Cleanout.

“Here is a great opportunity to refresh your wardrobe with new-to-you ladies’ shoes, clothing, and accessories; while supporting several local charities!”

The Closet Cleanout gets underway on October 23 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Kanata Hotel. This event will support The Bridge Youth and Family Services with a portion of the proceeds, and all leftover clothing going to Mamas for Mamas.

Entry is $5 with a portion of the proceeds going to The Bridge Youth and Family Services to help them build the Youth Recovery House. Gift bags for the first 100 people and a chance to win a selection of door prizes will also be up for grabs.

Attendees can expect to see lots of fall and winter threads on display. Details about the market are available on www.greatclosetcleanout.com.
