Kelowna RCMP seeking public's help in finding missing man

Searching for missing man

Kelowna RCMP are once again asking the public for help in finding a missing person who may be in the Okanagan.

Police were able to locate a missing West Kelowna woman after reaching out for the public's help Saturday, but Sunday, Kelowna RCMP are now looking for a missing 18-year-old Port Alberni resident.

Ivan Glaim-Frank was last seen leaving a home on the 3000 block of Lakeshore Road in Kelowna on Sept. 26, but friends and family have not seen him since.

"Since Ivan’s disappearance, police have followed up on several leads, however Ivan remains missing," said Cst. the Kelowna RCMP's Solana Paré. "Investigators believe that Ivan may be in the Kelowna area or may have traveled to Vancouver Island."

Family say it's out of character for Glaim-Frank to be out of contact for this long, and police are worried about his wellbeing.

Glaim-Frank is described as an 5-foot-9, 161-pound Indigenous man with black hair and brown eyes.

Police have asked anyone with information on the whereabouts of Glaim-Frank to contact their local police, or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
