RCMP arrest 2 allegedly driving stolen truck, stolen items seized

2 arrested in stolen truck

A Kelowna woman and an Edmonton man are facing charges after being arrested in a stolen vehicle.

The pair were spotted by police driving a stolen vehicle on September 24. The vehicle stopped at a parking lot at the intersection of KLO Road and Gordon Drive at 9 p.m.

The two occupants in the stolen vehicle were taken into custody and during the arrest, numerous stolen items were also seized. The police investigation led to a nearby campground where a second stolen vehicle was recovered.

The alleged passenger, 37-year-old Kelowna woman Dawn Chouinard, was brought before the courts and released on conditions for a future court date. She is facing three charges, including two for possession of stolen property.

Clinton Krilow, 27, of Edmonton, was held for court and subsequently released on conditions for a future court date. He is facing numerous charges including possession of stolen property, operate a conveyance while prohibited, and breach of probation.
