Hollywood Road North will be closed for paving

Road closed for paving

Rutland's Hollywood Road North is set to be closed for paving.

Beginning Monday Sept. 27 until Thursday Sept. 30, Hollywood Road North between McCurdy and Leathead Road will be closed to motorists between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., weather permitting.

The City is asking motorists to use alternate routes to access Pearson Elementary School, for drop-off and pick-up.

Access to residences within the construction zone will be available.

All paving projects are part of the annual pavement management program which maintains all municipal roads in Kelowna.

The City monitors and tests the roads regularly to identify and prioritize areas that require maintenance. Regular maintenance protects the infrastructure of the roads over time and prevents mass replacement at one time.
