British funnyman James Mullinger comes to Okanagan, finally

British comedian arrives

It's been a long time coming but British comedian, James Mullinger will finally be performing in the Okanagan.

The show has been postponed twice, had a venue change, and finally now has had an additional show added so that James Mullinger can perform his Embrace Where You Live Comedy Tour in Lake Country and Kelowna at the end of the month.

“What a crazy and wild 18 months it’s been,” says Rob Balsdon, owner of Train Wreck Comedy. “COVID created many obstacles for the entertainment industry, but I am so thrilled that James Mullinger stayed committed to bringing his Embrace Where You Live Comedy Tour to the Okanagan and that it’s finally happening!”

Mullinger is a British comedian who now makes his home in New Brunswick. Back in 2016, Mullinger sold out Harbour Station Arena in Saint John, outselling Jerry Seinfeld, Iron Maiden, and Def Leppard, and in 2018, he did it again!

“James was willing to do whatever it took to make these shows happen and that’s just what he has done. We’ve switched venues and even added shows to accommodate original ticket holders and fulfill the demand from so many others who can’t wait to get out and laugh,” Balsdon adds.

Mullinger tours extensively to packed houses across Canada and England and his early years have been made into a big-budget movie.

The shows run on September 28 at the Creekside Theatre in Lake Country and the Mary Irwin Theatre in Kelowna on September 30.
