Man found dead at orchard in Kelowna not suspicious

A Kelowna man was found dead at a local orchard on Tuesday evening.

Kelowna RCMP were called just after 11 p.m. on June 15 to assist the BC Emergency Health Services at an orchard on Spiers Road, after a man was found deceased at the location.

Criminality is not suspected in this incident,” says Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy of the Kelowna RCMP. “WorkSafeBC and the BC Coroners Service are now conducting concurrent investigations to determine how and by what means the deceased came to his death.”

The investigation has determined that the man, who was in his 60's, was working at the orchard at the time of his passing. No other details are being released.
