Radio personality passes

Kelowna has lost a well-loved radio personality.

David Larsen who was part of one of Kelowna's longest-running radio morning shows as part of David and Tony has passed away after succumbing to cancer.

Larsen, who worked for Silk FM before spending 10 years at K96.3, passed away on the weekend.

A note on K96.3's website indicates, "our dear friend David Larsen lost his battle to cancer. David was an integral part of K96.3 and the Kelowna community. He was also an outstanding husband, father, and friend. We will miss him greatly. Please join us tomorrow morning as we celebrate David."

K Morning’s David and Tony ended their morning radio run after nearly 10 years on the air at K96.3 back in 2019. They had worked together for 18 years overall.

The duo spent eight years working together at Silk FM, which Nick Frost owned before starting Castanet.
