Kelowna's Closet Clean-out, fashion flea market, to return

Closet clean-out with a twist

The Great Closet Cleanout is back again, but farmer's market style.

"Yes, we know that it isn’t really spring any more…but we had to wait until restrictions were eased. So we are calling it Spring. Expect to see Spring and Summer clothing at this event," said producer Rosanne Ting-Mak Brown.

The ladies fashion flea market is scheduled for Sunday June 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ramada Hotel back parking lot.

Enhanced COVID-19 protocols will continue to be in place.

Ting-Mak Brown says there will be extra space between tables, and sanitizing stations will be added.

Social distancing will also be enforced, and masks are highly recommended.

“As markets & events slowly start to come back, we ask for the public’s support to help spread the news.” Ting-Mak Brown said.

“While we will continue to provide this market in a safe and responsible manner, we appeal to everyone to recognize that events are one of the few industries that have been mostly shut down for the past 15 months. We would love your help to spread the news and attend so that we can continue to offer these in the future. We look forward to seeing you there."

The entry fee is $5 with a portion of the proceeds going to The Bridge Youth Recovery House and all left over clothing will be going to Mamas for Mamas.
