Mission Creek Landing care home hopes to expand

Seniors home wants to grow

Plans have been submitted to the City of Kelowna to expand Mission Creek Landing senior care home.

Kaigo Senior Living wants to turn the Hall Road location into a three-storey facility that would be constructed over three phases, presumably to ensure there would be no disruption to the current residents.

The finished product would be home to 242 residents and feature 85 parking stalls.

The current Mission Creek Landing is a one-storey seniors’ home that has been a part of East Kelowna for the last 45 years. It is for seniors who can no longer live independently.

It currently has 100 government-subsidized one-bedroom suites and four private pay rooms.
