Environment Canada predicting a sunny start to the week

Clear start to the week

Sunny skies are expected across the Thompson-Okanagan for Easter Monday, and residents can continue to enjoy clear skies until mid-week.

According to Environment Canada, Kelowna and Vernon will see a high of 14 C on Monday with temperatures getting a little higher in Penticton with 16 C and Kamloops reaching 15 C.

Sunny skies and warmer temperatures will continue into Tuesday with Kamloops reaching a high of 18 C, but things will start to look a little different on Wednesday due to a high chance of showers and lower temperatures.

A mix of sun and cloud is expected in Penticton, Kelowna and Vernon for Thursday while Kamloops residents can look forward to more clear skies.

However, clouds and showers are expected to take over the skies across the Thompson-Okanagan on Friday.
