Virus exposure at school

After COVID-19 exposures were declared at six Central Okanagan schools Friday, Interior Health says another exposure occurred at a Kelowna private school last week.

The new exposure occurred Monday at Kelowna's Aberdeen Hall Preparatory school.

The school has faced several COVID exposures this year, and in February, an entire Grade 5 class at the school was forced to self-isolate.

Friday, School District 23 said there had been recent exposures at Bankhead Elementary, Constable Neil Bruce Middle, Davidson Road Elementary, Hudson Road Elementary, École Kelowna Secondary School, Pearson Road Elementary.

But the school district did not say what dates these exposures occurred on.
