Erratic driver arrested

UPDATE 1:55 p.m.

The Kelowna RCMP say they received multiple reports of an erratic driver travelling southbound on Highway 97 near McCurdy Rd. just after noon.

Officers flooded the area and caught up to the Dodge Durango near the intersection of Hwy 33 and Hwy 97 N.

“The driver, a 38-year-old female from the Kelowna area, was arrested at the scene,” said Const. Solana Paré. “Preliminary findings indicate that impairment may be a factor.”

There were no injuries reported and the investigation remains ongoing.
