Speed is believed to have been a factor in a motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon in Kelowna.
Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle crash on Longhill Road near Valley Road at about 1 p.m.
Investigators from Kelowna Municipal Traffic Services attended the scene and learned from a witness that a motorcycle went off the road.
The driver, a 20-year-old Kelowna woman, was transported to hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
“Speed is believed to be a factor in the collision,” said Const. Solana Paré of the Kelowna RCMP.
