New COVID-19 cases at grocery stores in Kelowna, Kamloops

More Interior grocery store employees have tested positive for COVID-19. 

Loblaws, the parent company of Superstore, recently reported two new cases of the virus among staff at its Kelowna Real Canadian Superstore location on Baron Road.

The staff members tested positive on Jan. 5, but their last day working at the store was on Dec. 28 and 31.

On Friday, the company also posted to its website that a staff member tested positive at Cain's Your Independent Grocer in Kamloops. The last day the employee worked at the store was Jan. 4.

Loblaws continually updates the public of any staff who test positive for COVID-19 at their stores in Canada. 

Recent exposures have also been reported at stores in Vernon and Oliver, while another Kelowna employee tested positive New Year's Day.
