Interior Health has added at least five Kelowna schools to its COVID-19 exposures list, with exposure dates immediately leading up to the Christmas holidays.
Here is a list of the affected schools with their potential exposure dates:
- Kelowna Secondary School: Dec. 14, 15, 16, 17, 18
- North Glenmore Elementary School: Dec. 17, 18
- Dr. Knox Middle School: Dec. 14, 15, 16, 17, 18
- Mt. Boucherie Secondary School: Dec. 18
- A.S. Matheson Elementary School: Dec. 14, 15, 16, 17
On the last day of classes, Interior Health announced they will continue to conduct contact tracing throughout the winter break. But while classes are out from Dec. 19 to Jan. 1, they will communicate directly with anyone at risk of COVID-19 over the holidays, rather than send letters through the schools.
A complete list of COVID-19 exposures at schools within the Interior Health region can be found on the health authority's website.
