The scene at the intersection of Springfield Rd. and Quigley Rd. in Kelowna is now clear of RCMP.

Castanet has reached out for more details on the cause of the heavy police response which included officers with weapons drawn.

A heavy police presence has been spotted on Springfield Rd. and Quigley Rd. in Kelowna.

Castanet has reached out to RCMP for further information.

Reports from the scene indicate officers have weapons drawn and the Emergency response unit is also on the scene.
