Police recovered $10,000 in stolen property from a Rutland home

Police found $10,000 in stolen property inside a Rutland home Thursday afternoon.

The RCMP executed a search warrant at the home on Springfield Road near Neptune Road just before 11 a.m.

Nine people were arrested during the raid, but they have all been released pending the results of the police investigation.

Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy said the recovered stolen property includes “bicycles, power tools and other equipment.”

An undisclosed amount of drugs and cash was also seized.

Police have asked anyone with information “regarding ongoing criminal activity” to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
