Kelowna's Stay at Home Gala welcomes Lane Merrifield

Newest Dragon for Gala

Kelowna's first ever Stay at Home Gala is welcoming the newest addition to Dragon's Den Lane Merrifield as keynote speaker.

The gala will take place March 27 at 7 p.m., presented by Valley First a division of First West Credit Union, featuring an optional dinner delivered to your door, speakers, a silent auction and more.

Joining Merrifield is Shane Nolan, Rawle James, Nicole Rustad, Shane Lapp and Neil Pretty. Robert Fine will be emcee for the evening.

“We have decided to call it social distancing at it's finest,” says event lead, Drew Vincent. “Dress up, log on, and join the Okanagan community for dinner. Whether you are pulling ramen from the pantry or choosing one of our local businesses to deliver to your door, this is the first-ever soiree with social distancing at it's core.”

“COVID-19 is challenging many of our community’s norms, but there is one that it won’t ever change and that is
our community’s generosity and will to help one another.”
