KGH operating room nurse to compete on Big Brother Canada

A Kelowna operating room nurse will be featured on the upcoming season of Big Brother Canada.

Rianne Swanson, 29, will join Kamloops resident John Luke Kieper as one of 16 houseguests to compete for the $100,000 season eight grand prize. 

“You are going to see crazy Ri Ri in the house. Get ready for it!” Swanson said in her video bio.

Originally from Chetwynd, B.C., Swanson now works at Kelowna General Hospital. 

“I love it, it challenges me every single day,” she said.

Swanson will be trying to follow in the footsteps of Dane Rupert, the Kelowna resident who won last season.

Big Brother Canada season eight premieres on March 4.
