A building proposal has landed at Kelowna City Hall to continue the build-out of Boynton Place, just off Clifton Road.
The proposal is for 40 more townhouses next to an existing development, backing on to Knox Mountain Park.
Plans include 20 two-bedroom units and 20 three-bedroom units.
According to documents accompanying the proposal, the design has been "carefully considered to minimize the impact of this project on the hill slope to the west of the townhouses."
"Working through the complexities of the site slope has been one of the biggest challenges with this project, as there is a large variation in elevation from Boynton Place to the back of this site."
The proposal must still move through internal channels before reaching council for consideration.
