Speedboat tied to buoy sinking off Manhattan Point

A speedboat is sinking in Okanagan Lake, just off Kelowna's Manhattan Point.

The fire department's marine rescue boat was called out Wednesday afternoon. However, after circling the vessel for several minutes, it was determined there was no one on board or in the vicinity.

The Sea Ray boat was tied up to a buoy off Manhattan Point.

Much of the boat is submerged.

Construction workers in the area say the boat has been slowly sinking all day.
