Fire sparked in downtown Kelowna's tent camp on Leon Avenue overnight.
Firefighters responded to the scene shortly after 10 p.m.
Luckily, the camp is just around the corner from the downtown firehall, and the fire was contained to just some contents of a single tent.
It's not known if anyone was injured in the incident.
With colder weather here, staying warm in the homeless camp is a concern.
Earlier this month, the Alliance Against Displacement called on the city to provide electrical outlets for the camp residents so they don't have to use propane or other dangerous means to keep warm.
