Small chance of showers for Remembrance Day

Cloudy weather for Monday

Every year on Nov. 11, people gather across the Okanagan hoping for the weather to hold up at outdoor Remembrance Day ceremonies.

This year, we're headed for a cloudy Remembrance Day with possible showers, says Environment Canada meteorologist Doug Lundquist.

"It might be showery and mixed with some flurries," says Lundquist, "but that's about a 30 per cent chance, so pretty low at this stage.

"We're expecting a high between four and six degrees Celsius on Monday, and a low of minus two. Beyond this weekend, though, it could actually turn out warmer than we're expecting."

Lundquist says temperatures are typical for this time of year.
