A Kelowna comedy show is putting on a show to support the Okanagan Observatory.
The Comedy For A Cause event takes place at Dakoda's Comedy Lounge tonight.
Shawn Talbot Photography partnered with Kelowna Comedy to raise money for the observatory. The observatory hosts free public observation nights every Friday when the skies are clear.
"One hundred per cent of ticket sales will be donated to the observatory to support the volunteers ... with their important educational work," Talbot said in an email.
The show will be hosted by comedy bloodsport champion Jordan Strauss.
"Jordan has never been to space, but he's really looking forward to the show! He also doesn't know what an observatory is," adds Talbot.
