While it may be a little early for some to start thinking about the Christmas season, it's never too early to focus on charity.
The Salvation Army is kicking off its Christmas Kettle campaign in Kelowna on Nov. 14 at its Community Life Centre in Rutland.
The campaign will begin with a pancake breakfast at 8:45 a.m., followed by tours of the Kelowna Salvation Army's new community response unit, a mobile kitchen used during times of disaster.
The money raised is used to help those in the community in need.
The Community Life Centre is located at 200 Rutland Road South.
